Does the National Seal of Puerto Rico conceal a biblical prophetic message?

THE ORIGINAL COAT OF ARMS OF PUERTO RICO

The national seal of Puerto Rico contains a series of relevant elements that point to a very specific biblical and prophetic event. The island of Puerto Rico, originally named Saint John the Baptist, received its Coat of Arms or National Seal from the Spanish Crown in 1511, and it is the oldest in the Western Hemisphere.  The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico declared this emblem its national coat of arms in 1976 with only a few changes.  A coat of arms or seal constitutes a pictogram, which means that the image represents a specific concept or idea intended to be understood by those whom the message was intended for.

Does the National Seal of Puerto Rico conceal a biblical, prophetic message?

The national seal of Puerto Rico contains a series of relevant elements that point to a very specific biblical and prophetic event:

  • A Lamb
  • A red book with seven seals
  • A white flag with a red cross
  • A Latin motto, “JOANNES EST NOMEN EJUS” (translates John is his name)

Biblical and Prophetic Meanings:

1. The Lamb

The Lamb is a well known biblical figure of Jesus the Christ. At the center of the coat of arms there is a lamb on top of a red book holding the seven seals described in the book of Revelation.  The Lamb is a well known biblical figure of Jesus the Christ, whom the last of the prophets of the Old Testament, John the Baptist, called the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei), who takes away the sin of the world.

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said,
“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

John 1:29

The fact that the Lamb is in the Western Hemisphere (to be specific, in Puerto Rico) is a clear allusion that the Messiah—who was born, lived, died and rose from the dead in the Eastern Hemisphere— is no longer carrying out his work on that side of the planet where he was rejected.

“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.”
John 1:11

This particular coat of arms was granted to the Western Hemisphere, and specifically to Puerto Rico, where this final prophetic work of international evangelism on behalf of the Lamb (a symbol of Christ) will take place.

2. The red book holding the seven seals

The red book that is shown in the Coat of Arms suggests that there is a revelation to be preached in this end of times. The red book holding the seven seals has been widely accepted as the Holy Scriptures.  On the book of Revelations it is written,

“And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne
a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals..”

Revelations 5:1

Without a doubt, we can affirm that the seven seals been held by the red book are indeed the seven seals mentioned in the Holy Scriptures.  Therefore, the red book on which the Lamb sits is the Holy Scriptures.

It is imperative to understand that the Book of Revelations is the last book of the Holy Scriptures and it contains the final events of this age and the final prophetic revelation given to John the apostle.  Therefore, the red book that is shown in the Coat of Arms suggests that there is a revelation to be preached in this end of times.

What is the content in the revelation given to John the apostle?

Revelations chapter 10 introduces an angel who delivers a message to John the apostle.  This angel holds an open little scroll on his hand.  What is the implication of the angel holding an open scroll on his hand?  It implies that the revelation given to John is contained in that little scroll.  This revelation contain the final events which will happen prior to the judgments that will overtake this world before the Second Coming of Christ.

“I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven,
clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head;
his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

He had a little book open in his hand.
And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars.
When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.

Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices,
I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,
“Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.”

Revelations 10: 1-4

Pay close attention to this fact in verse 4: John is been ordered to seal and not write down this revelation.

Why does the angel order John to seal and not write down this revelation?

The reason the angel gives the order to John to seal and not to write down the revelation is because the revelation did not belong to John’s time, but to the very end of time (that is, these final days), for John will not return to preach to this planet.

Then, who has been appointed to reveal the content of the little scroll?

It is the seventh angel (the last of the prophets for the End Times) and not John the one appointed to reveal the mystery of God, as the Lord declared to His servants the prophets:

“The angel whom I saw standing on the sea
and on the land raised up his hand to heaven,

and swore by Him who lives forever and ever,
who created heaven and the things that are in it,
the earth and the things that are in it,
and the sea and the things that are in it,
that there should be delay no longer,

but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel,
when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished,
as He declared to His servants the prophets.”

  Revelations 10:5-7

There is a clear inference in the following verses 8 to 11:  John received the little scroll in representation of the final prophetic call (that is, the seventh angel), for John did not complete the prophetic call to preach over many peoples, nations, tongues and kings for the obvious reasons we have already mentioned.  In fact, John died a few years after his exile in the island of Patmos.

Let us read the following evidence:

Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said,
“Go, take the little book which is open in the hand
of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.”

So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.
”And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter,
but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”

Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it,
and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.
But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter

And he said to me, “You must prophesy again
about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”

Revelations 10:8-11

In conclusion:  The red book holding the seven seals is the Holy Scriptures.  The seven seals are a clear allusion to the Apocalypse or Book of Revelations, which is the last book of the Scriptures with the final revelation for this world.  In Revelations chapter 10, John received a special revelation through the little scroll that belongs to the end of times, prior to the Second Coming of Christ.  John received this revelation as a representative of the final prophetic call but he does not write it down neither carries it out, for it does not belong to his time.  This revelation belongs to end of times and is to be preached by the seventh angel (that is, the last prophet in history).

3. The banner

The flag or banner is a symbol of a second banner (prophet) that chosen by God for the End Time.In the Coat of Arms the Lamb, a symbol of the Christ, is holding a white banner with a red cross. A banner is an insignia or sort of flag used as a distinguishing mark or sign.

What is the purpose of the Lamb carrying a banner?

We have already mentioned that the Lamb is a clear symbol of Christ, who saved us by paying for our sins about 2,000 years ago, when the Father raised him from the dead.  Therefore, Christ—through his feat in the Calvary—has become a sign, flag or banner to the world for the salvation of whoever chooses to believe in Him.  Let us read the following passages:

“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself”

John 12:32

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:14-15

Notice the way these biblical passages confirm that Christ—through his death and resurrection—has been lifted up as the first sign or banner for the world to draw all peoples to Himself.  This way it is fulfilled what was foretold by Isaiah the prophet:

“And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse,
Who shall stand as a banner to the people;
for the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”

Isaiah 11:10

Notice that verse 10 calls our attention towards Christ (the root of Jesse) and identifies Him as the first banner or prophetic sign which manifested itself about 2,000 years ago.  It is also interesting to see that on verses 11 and 12 the prophet Isaiah makes a clear allusion that God will raise a second banner as a prophetic sign to the world.  Let us read:

“It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord
shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

He will set up a banner for the nations,
And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.”

Isaiah 11:11-12

It is imperative to notice that the expression on verse 11, “shall set His hand again the second time” clearly means that He will bring a second sign that is, a second banner (prophet) as a messenger from God to the world.  Verse 12 presents the mission of this final prophet (the second banner): to gather up all believers dispersed over the face of the earth during the final days prior to the Second Coming of our Savior Jesus Christ.  This gathering will be achieved through the preaching of the eternal gospel in order to make everyone set our sights towards the glorious feat of Christ (the first banner) in Calvary for the salvation of the human race.

NOTE: The Second banner (prophet) will draw the world’s attention through the sign of his Vindication.

In conclusion:  What is the purpose of the Lamb carrying a banner?  Being  the fact that the Lamb (Christ) is the first prophetic banner in history, it is understandable the reason he carries this banner is to draw the attention towards the second banner (prophet), whom God shall raise at the end of the times in the Western Hemisphere (to be specific, Puerto Rico).  This second banner will gather the remnant of God’s people dispersed all over the world.  This gathering will be achieved through the preaching of the feat of Christ in the Calvary (the Gospel).  This way this prophet will prepare the way for the Second Coming of Christ in glory.

4. The inscription: Joannes Est Nomen Ejus

It is quite evident that the inscription: John is his name is making reference to an evangelical and prophetic work that will begin in Puerto Rico and will be spread to the whole world. The latin inscription "Joannes Est Nomen Ejus", which appears in the Coat of Arms, translates to John is his name.  This inscription comes from a biblical passage from the gospel according to Luke in reference to the prophet John the Baptist, who as the forerunner of the Lord Jesus, prepared the way for the Lord’s first coming.

“So it was, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child;
and they would have called him by the name of his father, Zacharias.

His mother answered and said, “No; he shall be called John.”

But they said to her, “There is no one among your relatives
who is called by this name.”

So they made signs to his father—what he would have him called.

And he asked for a writing tablet,
and wrote, saying, “His name is John.” So they all marveled.

Luke 1:59-63

The work of John the Baptist is clear in Scripture.  This prophet was selected by God even before he was born to carry out the extraordinary prophetic work of introducing the Christ as the Savior, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.  Let us read, “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29).  This is how John the Baptist, as a forerunner, prepared the way for the first coming of Jesus upon the earth.  Let us read:

“But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias,
for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son,
and you shall call his name John.

And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.

For he will be great in the sight of the Lord,
and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink.
He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit,
even from his mother’s womb.

And he will turn many of the children
of Israel to the Lord their God.

He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah,
‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,
and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just,
to make ready a people prepared for the Lord”.

Luke 1:13-17

“For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight.”

Mathew 3:3

The name John means messenger of grace or what is the same as Messenger of the gospel.  Then it is quite evident that the inscription: John is his name is making reference to an evangelical and prophetic work that will begin in Puerto Rico and will be spread to the whole world.  This clearly suggest that as John the Baptist prepared the way for the Lord’s first coming; in the same manner, from Puerto Rico God has ordained the last prophet to prepare the way for the Lord’s Second Coming on the clouds of heaven.

Who is this messenger chosen by God, appointed as His last prophet, who possesses the final revelation to be preached to the world?

Let us go back and review the symbols found in the Coat of Arms with their respective prophetic meaning, for they are clearly making reference to a final prophetic messenger who now lives in the Western Hemisphere:

The Lamb (Christ) has placed himself on the Western Hemisphere—to be specific in Puerto Rico—from where the last work of evangelism will take place.

In Revelations 10, John the apostle received the last prophetic message through the reception of the small book to preach it to all nations, tribes, tongues and kings.  However, he did not carry out this work for God commanded him to seal the words of this revelation for it belongs to the End Times, when the last prophet chosen by God shall appear to preach this revelation.

God, through Isaiah the prophet, foretold the lifting of a second banner who will preach the gospel to gather all believers who are dispersed all over the world.

Finally, we concluded that just as John the Baptist; in such the same manner, God’s last prophet will appear in the final days to preach the gospel and prepare the way of the Lord for His Second Coming.

In response to the question: Who is this chosen Messenger from God appointed as His final prophet, who will preach the final revelation to the world?

The Messenger whom God has chosen to preach the final revelation and the things that must happen very soon on the whole world is known in Puerto Rico and around the world as Luiko of Jesus, whom the Lord himself has ordained as the sign for these final days as a blessing to the inhabitants of the Earth.  What is the sign?  The sign is known as the vindication; a term used to describe the departure to Heaven of Luiko of Jesus (through natural death as was foretold by Luiko himself) and his return back to Earth in a new restored body with a physical appearance of a 27 to 30 year old man full of youth and energy to fulfill his final prophetic work.  This work will be to preach again the eternal gospel to all nations for a witness, before the End Time.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached
in all  the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Mathew 24:14

“And he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”

Revelations 10:11

This way Luiko of Jesus shall prepare the way for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ just as John the baptist prepared the way for His First Coming.

The information herein concerning the original Coat of Arms of Puerto Rico and the transcendent implications behind the meaning of its biblical symbols will help you understand the real reasons behind its existence.

We can safely affirm the following:

  • All the symbols appearing in this Coat of Arms are in perfect harmony with the biblical revelations —in particular, the book of Revelations.
  • The Coat of Arms of Puerto Rico was evidently inspired by God to mark the island of Puerto Rico as the place from where the last Messenger—Luiko of Jesus—shall appear as a prophetic sign.
  • It is Luiko of Jesus who will bring the final revelation to the whole world the way God foretold through his servants the prophets.
  • It is Luiko of Jesus who, in his vindication, will prepare the way for the Second Coming in glory for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In summary:

The Seal clearly highlights this specific fact: It is from the small island of Puerto Rico that God will lift his final Messenger to preach the final prophetic revelation of salvation to the world. The Seal clearly highlights this specific fact: It is from the small island of Puerto Rico that God will lift his final Messenger to preach the final prophetic revelation of salvation to the world.  We are now living the End Times, when “there will be no delay”.

“and swore by Him who lives forever and ever,
who created heaven and the things that are in it,
the earth and the things that are in it,
and the sea and the things that are in it,
that there should be delay no longer,

but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel,
when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished,
as He declared to His servants the prophets.

Revelations 10:6-7

My dear beloved reader, the vindication of Luiko of Jesus is about to be fulfilled; God has already taken him up to heaven.  Now, the only thing left is for him to return as the messenger of God, the third angel, the angel of Revelations 18 who will preach the glory of the eternal gospel—that is, the total dependence of Christ’s righteousness, which was wrought in the Calvary in representation of the human race.  Therefore, it is important for you to stay in touch with The Voice of the Third Angel and stay informed about everything concerning the vindication of Luiko of Jesus through the biblical studies about this topic that you will find in this section.  These biblical studies will help you understand the significance and transcendence of this final sign.

We exhort you to wait patiently for the fulfillment of this prophecy—the return of Luiko of Jesus and his final evangelical and prophetic work—to join the remnant of God in these final days.  “May God protect you in his divine love”.
